I am left totally thrilled that I purchased this experience for my daughters 10th birthday that I felt compelled to write a review. From start to finish, we had an excellent time and far exceeded my expectations. All the staff were professional, friendly and knowledgable. Booking was easy and uncomplicated. It was a privilege to have Laura as our ranger. From hand feeding the penguins, handling the lemur monkeys and going off road to get up close to the animals, we felt most definitely VIP's for the day. Definitely value for money as one adult is included in the price. I highly recommend this to anyone and will be rebooking again soon. Once again, thank you Laura for making our day extra special and for providing a very friendly and personal experience which we will never forget.
My son and I had a fantastic morning on 26th May on the Junior Keeper experience. We had an amazing keeper, Erin, who was extremely knowledgeable and great with the kids. We were able to feed and count the lorikeets, clean out/groom and walk the donkeys/ponies, feed lemurs/meerkats/mongoose and get up close to the carnivores. My son and I loved every minute; certainly a birthday treat he will never forget! Many thanks to Erin 🙂
Fantastic day out, my 8 year old son loved it and asked to do the experience again soon. Very interactive with the animals, and up close to the animals on the safari. Laura our VIP host, was amazing and brilliant all round. Great value for money, as you can stay in the park all day. Would highly recommend if you love animals and not scared to get stuck in feeding the smaller animals.

It’s time to make that dream come true! This awesome zookeeper experience is especially designed to give younger visitors (8-15 years old), the chance to get up and close and personal with some of the smaller animals at Woburn Safari Park on an unforgettable morning.
This really is a hands on adventure and you can expect to learn lots about taking care of the animals as you head behind the scenes in your role as a Junior Keeper! Working with the full time keepers, you will get stuck into mucking out, preparing food and some one-on-one time with some of the fun animals that call Woburn home. If you love animals, you are going to have the time of your life as you could be doing any number of things such as meeting the vibrant Lorikeets in Rainbow Landing, feeding the penguins, holding a HUGE owl or heading to the Land of the Lemurs for an amazing close encounter with these beautiful primates!
And if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also get a very special ‘favourite animal hour’ where you’ll get VIP Land Rover trip to get up close to your favourite safari animal – what will it be? Lions, tigers, rhinos, giraffes…! Once your half day keeper experience has finished, you will be given a guidebook and an ‘Animal Keeper’ certificate as mementos of your fabulous time with the animals. And of course, you are welcome to stay in the park until close. This really is the must do experience for any younger animal fan!
Woburn Safari Park is simply wo, wo, wo, WOW! Set on 360 acres, a lot of which the resident animals can roam free on, this is a zoo that takes pride in providing a home not a cage for their charges. Elephants, Rhinos, African ungulates (antelopes, buffalo, zebras, etc) & Lions all have their own housing and paddocks, with the Lion reserve alone at 32 acres being bigger than the land occupied entirely by many a city zoo! There are so many animals and so many other favourites like monkeys, wolves, birds of prey, meerkats, & lemurs that it is impossible to list them all! On top of all this, the Park also has other family fun areas, a lake with pedal boats, a high ropes course for kids, outdoor play areas, and even a train for touring around the foot safari area.
For a brilliant day out, Woburn Safari Park has all you and your family needs.
Woburn Safari Park can only be accessed by car and as it stretches across 360 acres it has two access points, an entrance gate on High Street in Ridgemont (for your sat nav use the postcode MK17 9QN) and an entrance gate on Turnpike Road, Husborne, Crawley (for your sat nav use the postcode MK43 OXB).
The High Street entrance way can be accessed via that J13 of the M1, just follow the Woburn Safari Park signs or the Turnpike Road entrance can be reached via the A5.
