AMAZING VALENTINES GIFT
What a day! I booked this for my girlfriend for valentines day, unfortunately due to availability we couldn't go on the day so booked it for the following week which gave her time to book me onto it as a surprise also! We had an amazing day we learned all about all of the monkeys and their near relatives with a very in depth private and guided tour with the keeper. We were told all about each animal, the nature's, facts ect and about each individual animals personal story and personality. It was absolutely awesome as they all reacted to seeing the keepers. We were allowed to play with the smaller monkeys and feed the red lemurs and other lemurs on our personal tour and had some amazing photos of them climbing on us and even allowing us to stroke the two tamer ones which was amazing! What was also amazing is as some other people were doing the zoo keeping day we didnt have to do any cleaning out. We had all of our questions answered had fun and it was amazing.

GREAT DAY
Got this for my 14 year daughters birthday present , she absolutely loved it! Was lovely as we as a family were able to follow her round too ! Her keeper ( Shelley) was lovely explaining everything . Really enjoyable time shame it's only 2 hours !

FANTASTIC WEEKEND
I bought this for my fiancé for his birthday. he had a fantastic time and loved every minute. He started the day by giving the gibbons their morning apple then thoroughly cleaned their enclosure. its amazing how close you can get to the animals. we then helped prepare the food for the Limas and had an amazing experience by feeding them. the keeper was great., very chatty and full of useful information and facts about all the primates.

PERFECT FOR ANIMAL LOVERS
My feeding experience was one on one with the keeper, which was really unexpected. The keeper was very knowledgeable, informative and answered any questions I had. The welcome I received by the zoo was very warm, they even offered hot drinks and a plate of biscuits on arrival. Highly recommended!

What to expect on your Monkey Keeper Day

If you are someone who loves monkeys and all things primate, or if you know someone who does, this Monkey Keeper Experience at Paradise Wildlife Park, Hertfordshire is the ultimate treat! Meet all of the park’s primate inhabitants up close and personal whilst shadowing an official Monkey Keeper who will be performing his or her daily duties of food preparation, housekeeping of enclosures and feeding of the monkeys.
Your guide who you will meet upon your arrival at the Paradise Wildlife Park Discovery Centre will be a part of the Primate Team and will be able to tell you all about what you will be doing during your special experience as a Monkey Keeper and later as they guide you around the park you will find that they are an absolute fount of knowledge when it comes to anything monkey related.
Expect to be shown around the Rainforest Building where the Tamarins and Marmosets live and also to spend time with the Gibbons in their enclosure. Feeding time will involve the very cheeky Lemurs so make sure you wear old clothes because those little guys don’t know anything about personal space and are quite likely to climb all over you!
At the end of your Monkey Keeper experience, you will be given a commemorative t-shirt and certificates as souvenirs and momentos of your day and you can have the rest of the day at your leisure as a regular visitor to the park, enjoying all it has to offer. About the Park
Paradise Wildlife Park is home to over 400 animals, and it is the only place in the UK to house all five big cats! They have farmyard animals, exotic tropical rainforest creatures, wolves, cats, reptiles, small mammals, African savannah land inhabitants and more. But the fun doesn’t stop with the animals!
It also houses adventure playgrounds, a Speedway museum, a farm yard for hands on experiences for all visitors, a mini-golfing area, a soft play area, train and tractor rides, other rides and slides, and a paddling pool lagoon for the kids to swim in. There are four dedicated eateries on site as well as in park kiosks, so refreshments are never far away. You can even eat whilst watching some of your favourite animals.
Paradise Wildlife Park is truly a wonderland of entertainment for the entire family. Not only that, it has developed a reputation for providing visitors with incredible animal encounter experiences.
Where It’s At
The park is situated north of London in Hertfordshire, can be reached by car via the A10, M1,and A1 and is near the junction 25 of the M25.
If travelling via the A10 take the Broxbourne/Turnford exit signposted as A1170. If coming down on the M1, go to junction 6a and take the M25 left towards Dartford Crossing, until you reach junction 25. From the A1, travel down the A1(M) to junction 1 and take the M25 left towards Dartford Crossing.
From each of these points, the rest of the way will be signposted with the typical brown tourist signage.
